Disinfectant Air Purification – We are able to install a patented device which utilises innovative technology to disinfect, purify and clean the air reducing the risk from airborne pathogens and microbes which are orally introduced in to the environment (from sneezing, coughing, talking etc). These droplets, dependant on their size may take up to an hour to settle on surfaces and therefore increase the risk of airborne transmission of infection. This method, developed by Wellisair, uses advanced technology that effectively generates and expands hydroxyl radicals (OH) that by oxidation eliminates viruses, bacteria, allergens, moulds, odours and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) up to 99.9%. The unit is constantly purifying the air and is completely safe for immediate and continued use of the environment.

This ensures that these droplets within the air are already disinfected before they settle upon surfaces, reducing transmission from person to person. When used in combination with our antimicrobial coating and hand sanitisers this gives an enhanced level of prolonged protection.

The Wellisair unit can be wall mounted or simply placed upon a desk and requires no specialist electrical installation and simply requires a standard plug socket. It delivers the disinfectant air purification using a cartridge which is replaced every 3 months. To the user, the cost of powering the unit is low at around 40p per month (depending on their energy tariff).
